A great weekend of sailing and social in the ever hospitable Yorkshire moors. Not too much wind, a bit of rain but also lots of sun was our lot for the weekend. Thanks to all at Keighley. Congratulations to Graham Elliot on his win.
Catsails taking a touring holiday! The UK events calendar has opened up again and we have three events coming up in the next four weeks so we are packing the boats, camera and Ness and heading off in the motorhome around the country. … We leave this Friday 17th September, travel, sail and photograph three events and manage a few days rest and exploring between each one before arriving back home ready to open the sail loft on Monday 11th October. All orders placed now will be made after we return from our break. Orders can be placed via the website shop and an automated reply will be generated with Sue sending you personal emails as soon as we return detailing your orders lead time.
Sunshine but little wind was the order of the weekend but the welcome was very warm and the fun was plentiful – another fantastic event. Thanks to all at Poole for making us all so welcome.
What a fantastic weekend of sailing, and socialising, we had. It was so good to see many of our friends again, and of course, to be back in sunny Fleetwood. We had sun and wind for the weekend and many races, with many, many general recalls – 59 I think I heard!
A brand new suit of DF65 A Plus sails in black trim could be yours for just £25. They have a faint crease mark across the mainsail but this will not affect performance. Available as from today. Shipping costs as per usual costs. Numbers and country codes can also be applied for the usual costs.

We both had a fantastic weekend at this great event, thanks to everyone for making us so welcome and all the advice. Thanks also to Wayne Stobbs and Tim Rees for all their help – very much appreciated . Nigel’s goal was to win a race having never sailed with a vane boat before Saturday! He achieved several wins even though he finished last in the competition. He did win the Concourse for his beautiful restoration -one of many lockdown projects.
So the 29th March has finally arrived in England and we are becoming a little ‘freer’, the orders are flooding in as we all get ready to get out there sailing and meeting up with our friends again. Get your orders in before the lead times for production really rise! Cant wait to meet up with all our friends and customers again lakeside. All the best, Nigel & Sue ( and puppy Ness too!)
